Batida Mango

Type: Short Drink

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tspn Caster SugarFine white sugar.
    Substitute: Normal white or brown sugar, but stir or shake the cocktail well!
  • 1 tblspn Mango PulpFresh mango, mashed with a fork or blended to a smooth pulp. Mangos are oval fruits that contain a large stone and should be peeled before use.
  • 1 msr Mango JuiceBottle or carton mango juice - or make your own by blending fresh mangos with water and sugar to taste.
  • 1 1/2 msr Cachaca / Aguardente De CanaRaw South American white rum.


Method:

Blend the ingredients with a glassful of crushed ice.
Pour into a goblet.
Serve with short straws.
