Russian Roulette

Type: Champagne Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Banana, PureedFresh bananas, peeled then mashed with a fork or pureed in a blender.
  • 1/2 msr Banana LiqueurSweet, yellow, banana-flavoured liqueur.
    Substitute: Creme de Banana if you're not worried about your cocktails being 100% authentic.
  • 1/2 msr GallianoAniseed flavoured liqueur made from herbs, roots and berries.
    Where you'll find it in the duty free shop: Italy
  • 1/2 msr Lemon JuiceFreshly squeezed lemon juice or the bottled lemon juice you can buy in the grocery store - up to you.
  • 1 tspn Sugar SyrupMake your own sugar syrup by dissolving equal quantities of water and sugar before simmering gently for 2 minutes. Cool and store in a bottle or jug.
  • 1/2 msr VodkaClear, neutral spirit distilled from mashed grain and filtered through charcoal. US and UK versions are clear and odourless, while the Russian and Polish varieties have a subtle flavour and aroma.


Method:

Place half a glass of crushed ice in a blender
Add ingredients to blender
Blend well
Pour unstrained into a highball glass
Add a straw
