Japanese Egg Nog
Type: Aperitif
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 msr CointreauOrange flavoured liqueur made from orange peel soaked in alcohol.
Substitute:Triple Sec or any other orange liqueur if you're not worried about your cocktails being 100% authentic. - 1 dash Egg WhiteSeparated white from the egg. You can separate an egg by cracking it into a bowl, then scooping out the yolk carefully with a cupped hand - preferably someone else's!
- 1 1/2 msr Melon LiqueurMelon flavoured liqueur.
Midori is Japanese in origin.
Substitute: Any sweet, green melon liqueur. - 3 msr MilkAny dairy or non-dairy milk - your choice
Method:
Place half a glass of ice in a cocktail shaker
Add ingredients to shaker
Shake & strain into a cocktail glass
Sprinkle nutmeg on top
Garnish with sliced kiwi fruit & watermelon
