Dry Manhattan (2)

Type: Aperitif

Ingredients:

  • 1 dash Angostura BittersFlavour enhancer made from herbs, spices and berries. Only a few dashes are added to cocktails so a bottle lasts a long time.
  • 1 1/2 msr Whiskey (Canadian)Smooth, light-bodied whiskey made from barley, corn, rye or wheat and usually matured for six years.
    Substitute:Any other whiskey if you are not worried about your cocktails being 100% authentic!
  • 1/2 msr Vermouth (Dry)Vermouth is a fortified wine flavoured with herbs, bark and plant extracts. Dry vermouth is pale, golden and white-wine based.


Method:

Half fill a mixing jug with ice
Add ingredients to jug
Stir gently
Pour into a cocktail glass
Garnish with lemon peel & sliced green olives
