Best served in a highball glass
Frozen Irish Coffee
Type: Long and Creamy Drink
- 5 msr CoffeeBlack coffee - made from instant coffee granules or in a percolator or caffitier. Use normal strength coffee, as you would usually drink it.
- 1 1/2 msr Whiskey (Irish)Blended Irish whiskey is similar to Scotch in taste - the difference is that the barley is dried in a kin rather than over a peat fire.
Substitute: Can use scotch or any other whiskey if you're not worried about your cocktails being 100% authentic
- 1 tblspn Vanilla Ice CreamAny dairy or non-dairy vanilla ice cream.
Blend ingredients - excluding ice cream - with 3/4 a glass of crushed ice
Pour into a highball glass
Top with ice cream
Sprinkle with grated chocolate
Note: Use sweetened, cold black coffee
