
Best served in a pina colada / poco glass
Jungle Wild
Type: Long Drink
Ingredients:
- 1 msr BourbonAmerican-style whiskey distilled from fermented cereal and aged in oak casks e.g. Wild Turkey, Jack Daniels, Rebel Yell.
Substitute: American blended whiskey, Tennessee whiskey - 2 msr LemonadeNon-alcoholic soda made from lemon juice, water and sugar. Can substitute diet or traditional-style lemonade if preferred.
- 1/3 msr Lime JuiceFreshly squeezed lime juice or the bottled lime juice you can buy in the grocery store - up to you. Just don't use lime cordial instead!
- 1 msr Mandarin JuiceBottled or carton mandarin juice - or make your own freshly-squeezed using fresh mandarins. Mandarins are small, orange citrus fruits similar in taste to tangerines.
- 2 msr Papaya/Pawpaw JuiceBottle or carton papaya juice, also known as pawpaw juice. Papayas are large tropical fruits, similar to mango.
- 1/3 msr Pisang AmbonGreen banana and herb flavoured liqueur from the Indonesian island of Ambon where 'pisang' means 'banana'.
- 1 msr White RumSpirit distilled from fermented sugar cane. White rum is clear, dry and light bodied, originating in Puerto Rica and matured for around 1 year before bottling.
Method:
Fill pina colada glass with ice
Shake & strain ingredients - excluding lemonade - into glass
Add lemonade
Garnish with seasonal fruit
Add straws
