Mandarin Daiquiri

Type: Short Drink

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Lime (Whole)Whole, fresh lime - the rind and/or shell can also be used when this is required in a cocktail.
  • 1 1/2 msr Golden RumSpirit distilled from fermented sugar cane. Golden rum is matured for around 3 years in charred barrels to mellow the flavour and produce the golden colour.
  • 3/4 msr Mandarine NapoleonPure spirit infused with mandarin peel and blended with cognac.

  • 1/2 msr Sugar SyrupMake your own sugar syrup by dissolving equal quantities of water and sugar before simmering gently for 2 minutes. Cool and store in a bottle or jug.


Method:

Fill a champagne saucer with broken ice.
Squeeze the lime into a shaker.
Shake and strain the ingredients into the glass.
Garnish with a cherry and an orange slice on a stick.
