Breakfast

Type: Short Drink

Ingredients:

  • 1 msr Creme De Cacao (Dark)Chocolate flavoured liqueur made from diluted cocoa beans soaked in alcohol. Available in white or dark varieties - the dark variety is stronger in alcohol.
  • 1 tspn Egg WhiteSeparated white from the egg. You can separate an egg by cracking it into a bowl, then scooping out the yolk carefully with a cupped hand - preferably someone else's!
  • 1 tspn Golden RumSpirit distilled from fermented sugar cane. Golden rum is matured for around 3 years in charred barrels to mellow the flavour and produce the golden colour.
  • 1/2 msr Lemon JuiceFreshly squeezed lemon juice or the bottled lemon juice you can buy in the grocery store - up to you.
  • 2 msr PortSweet fortified wine that can be found in red or white varieties. LBV Port is Late Bottled Vintage - the product of a single year's harvest.

Method:

Shake the ingredients thoroughly and strain into a cocktail glass.
Sprinkle with grated nutmeg.
